nodewatcher v3: Shuttleworth Foundation Flash Grant SL

I - Jernej Kos - have recently received the Shuttleworth Foundation Flash Grant to focus on further development of version 3 of the nodewatcher platform. The nodewatcher v3 platform is an open source (GNU AGPL licensed) network planning, deployment, monitoring and maintenance platform for community wireless networks. Such recognition and support of the project is very motivational and confirming the project is on the right track.

Many thanks to the Shuttleworth Foundation, an organisation supporting socially engaged ideas and projects. They provide means for project development and thus help people with visions about changing the societies to focus on their ideas. Their main goal and purpose is:

"To assist persons or projects to effect or which are otherwise involved in social change, with social change being the process whereby values, attitudes or institutions of society, such as education, family and industry become modified, to include both the natural process and action programs initiated by members of the community or any other person." I would also like to thank Dr. Paul Gardner-Stephen for nominating me for this grant. He was a Shuttleworth Foundation Fellow and is developing open and robust technology for disaster communication with the project Serval.
